Neurotoxins, like Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. When done routinely, neurotoxins can be preventative, meaning that they can prevent future wrinkles from forming overtime. Even etched in wrinkles can be improved with proper dosing and regular appointments so that anyone can be a candidate regardless of their age.
Neurotoxin injections are relatively painless, take only minutes to perform, and have virtually no downtime. Results can be seen in 3-14 days and last from 2-6 months. Patients who are pregnant, breast feeding, trying to conceive, or who have specific medical conditions are not candidates for neurotoxins. Please let us know if you cannot receive neurotoxins and we will recommend and customize a plan that is best for you!

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance in our skin which is responsible for hydration, volume and elasticity. Overtime, our skin loses HA which leads to volume loss and sagging skin. Dermal fillers comprised of HA can restore volume depletion and help rejuvenate the skin by providing moisture and suppleness. Dermal fillers can also be used to treat fine lines and wrinkles on the face and body.
When injected properly, HA fillers can last 3-24 months. Results of HA filler can be seen immediately, and any swelling from the procedure will typically settle within a few days. Most patients will require multiple treatments (multiple syringes) to achieve their aesthetic goals. A thorough consultation will be provided by us to determine the best customized plan for you.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) have become a high-demand treatment in cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic medicine. The process involves a quick blood draw and then the blood is spun in a centrifuge, separating the activated platelets from other cells of the blood (red blood cells, white blood cells) into plasma (the liquid portion of blood). Platelets play a key role in the body’s natural healing process by activating growth factors which are essential for repairing damaged skin.
PRP/PRF has been clinically shown to help stimulate your own collagen and elastin — the proteins that are responsible for keeping the skin looking healthy as well as making the skin look resilient and youthful. Injecting PRP/PRF into the skin can help with facial wrinkles and folds, acne scars, stretch marks, surgical scars, and overall facial rejuvenation.
Typically, multiple treatments are required to achieve optimal results. The procedure is relatively quick and has very little downtime depending on where the PRP/PRF is injected/applied.
-
After undergoing microneedling with the SkinPen, PRP/PRF can be applied to the skin to help improve and facilitate faster results by providing your dermis (the deeper layer of your skin) with growth factors that help heal and produce new healthy skin. Patients looking to improve the overall vibrancy of their skin and those with acne scars are excellent candidates as well for this procedure.
PDO THREADS
-
PDO (polydioxanone) threads are utilized to help stimulate collagen to promote smoother and tighter skin. Threads have been utilized in medicine for decades. They are placed in the tissue and slowly dissolve over several months in order to stimulate your own body’s collagen and elastin to help create strength. The effect can last up to two years and can be repeated as needed.
Smooth threads are utilized for facial revitalization. They stimulate collagen to help promote smoothing and tightening of the skin and help with the elasticity and texture of the skin as well. Smooth threads can be utilized in the neck to help improve neck lines and to tighten the crepiness that occurs as we age. They can also be used in the décolletage to improve wrinkles and creases. They are one of my favorite treatments to place in the abdomen especially for women that have had children and have loose skin that they want tightened especially if they are not necessarily candidates for surgery.
Twisted threads are used to improve deeper wrinkles like the lines between our brows (glabella), the nasolabial folds, and the lines around the mouth. They can also be utilized to create a crisper border in the lip and create more of a lip flip as well.

Barbed threads help to reposition and lift the skin. They provide instant firmness and tightening of the skin. Barbed threads can be utilized on the body to help lift areas that are prone to gravity: such as on the knees, breasts, buttocks and arms. Most patients receive Barbed threads in their cheeks and jawline to help lift the skin to help with sagging and jowls. Barbed threads can also be placed in the eyebrows to create a non-surgical eyebrow lift. They can also be utilized in the nose to help lift and elevate the nasal tip. Barbed threads are a great bridge between fillers and plastic surgery.

Age spots that are raised or waxy in appearance are called seborrheic keratoses (SK). These benign, non-cancerous growths occur due to age, sun exposure, and genetics. Raised SKs are rarely removed via laser and require surgical removal.
Red lesions that are either flat or raised are called cherry angiomas and can occur on the face and body. They can grow overtime and can be caused by sun exposure, genetics, or pregnancy. If traumatized, they can bleed and grow larger.
Brown or black raised lesions that typically occur in patients with darker skin are called dermatosis papulosa nigra (DPN) and commonly can be seen on the face and neck.
Utilizing dermatological surgical equipment, we can remove these lesions without any discomfort while minimizing the risk of scarring and pigmentation.
